Incredible 1920s silver lamé gown in the most stunning shade of icy blue. Cut in a simple but classic slightly dropped waisted style with a strappy low cut back and a super full skirt. The fabric is incredible, from the color to texture and pattern, which depicts art deco medallion shapes and vaguely architectural motifs. The gown opens and closes fully down one side of the bodice with hooks and snaps, making it incredible easy to get on and off. This marvelous gown is shockingly modern for being 100 years old!

Overall very good condition with some minor notes. This piece has been professionally restored with new (antique) silk binding applied to refinish the armholes. Otherwise, there are a few scattered minor pulled threads, some minor tarnishing/fade to the lamé that is nearly indistinguishable, and a few minor marks, the worst of which is a small slightly yellowed area at the back shoulder/armhole area. Presents beautifully and is in excellent wearable condition.
